ELDERS
The elders serve SonRise Community Church by working alongside the congregation in the various ministries of the church providing spiritual leadership and teaching to equip the church, so we all can do the work of ministry among our community.
Adam Powers: Pastor
Adam joined us in April 2014 to serve as Pastor to SonRise Community Church. His wife Holly, two sons Jack and Luke, and their daughter Piper form the rest of the Powers family. They enjoy playing with their children, watching movies, and doing anything outside. Adam has studied at Reformed Theological Seminary graduating in 2011 with a Master of Divinity, and is currently back at RTS working on his Doctorate of reformed theology.
Andrew Jaenichen: Administrative Pastor
Andrew serves as our Administrative Pastor. He holds a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity College of Florida and an M.A. in Christian Ethics from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has a passion for God, theology, coffee and seeing followers of Christ become disciple making disciples. He is also married to the most wonderful Janelle, a woman far beyond his league
Chad Clark
Chad married his wife Meridith in May 1998 and together they are working hard to raise Channing, Faith, and Nicholas in the ways of the Lord, along with fostering. Originally from Michigan, by way of four years at Asbury College in KY, Chad now spends his working hours serving the West Pasco community as a financial planner through his private practice. If not at the house, office, or church you will find Chad at the baseball or soccer fields proudly cheering on his children.
Sam Knox
Sam Knox works locally at the County Tax Collectors Office (Rom 13:6-7). He has previously served as youth pastor at Living Hope Baptist Church, before joining SonRise. He enjoys spending time with his wife, their son Titus, reading the works of Puritans, and long conversations on reformed theology.
Mike Darley
Mike Darley was born and raised here in New Port Richey, FL. He is married to Kelly and together they are raising their sons Athan and Liam. Mike has earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Trinity College of Florida and an M.Ed. from the University of West Florida. He currently serves as one of our worship leaders. He enjoys cooking, fishing, and coffee.
Anthony Del Valle
Anthony is a barber by trade and enjoys the many opportunities he has to share the gospel and encourage others in the faith at the barbershop. He has a certificate in Christian Studies from Spurgeon College. He faithfully serves in our children’s ministry alongside his lovely wife Denise. They have four children and three grandchildren. He loves to cook, spend time with family and friends and read books on theology and anything by Tolkien.

DEACONS
Walter Harrell
Walter was born in North Carolina and grew up as an Army “brat”. He attended The University of North Alabama and worked for Delta Air Lines in Atlanta Ga. for 31 years. He married his wife Robin in 1980 and they raised two children, Casey and Holly. They moved to Florida in 2017 to “retire” and be with grandchildren.
Lianne Sanchez
Lianne and her 3 girls have been attending Sonrise since 2007. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Eastern University in St. Davids, PA, and is hoping to continue her education in the counseling field. But for right now, she is happy to be homeschooling her youngest daughter and working as a Virtual Assistant. She is living proof of the Lord’s sustaining grace.
