“Let the nations be glad, and sing for joy!” (Psalm 67:4)

Missions is one of the imperatives given to us from Christ. He said before He left this earth, “Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:18-20). This is the Great Commission, given to all of us who have been redeemed, it is not an option. It is not called the “Great Suggestion.” If we’re truly born again and have received the joy of knowing we are now one of His own, how can we keep such Good News a secret? Missions not only delivers men from their rightful punishment of an eternal hell but more important makes much of our Savior and glorifies Him.

We attempt to accomplish this commission by supporting missionaries/church planters in foreign countries, by making visits to encourage them, by financially giving to them, and by praying for them. The second Sunday of each month, we challenge each other to remember those we support personally along with our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world who are being persecuted for their faith. During the year, we have various projects to aid raising support for a specific mission need.

It’s been a joy to see the Lord expanding our reach to the nations and it’s our hope that He’ll continue to do so for His glory among the nations. We long to see peoples from every tribe, language, tongue, and nation stream to the throne, worshiping the King of Kings for all eternity!
